More information about this Elixir
The Elixir 12000 is a set of electric guitar strings in Super Light (009-042), featuring the original POLYWEB® coating. This coating offers a warmer tone with a particularly smooth playing feel and reduces string noise when sliding. The full wrap around the string effectively keeps out dirt, ensuring a long-lasting, fresh tone and smooth playability.
The strings are made of nickel steel with a roundwound, combining comfort with reliability. The Elixir 12000 is an excellent choice for guitarists who appreciate a softer playing feel, minimal friction, and a warm, consistent tone that lasts.
