More information about this StewMac
More information about this StewMac
The StewMac SM0472 Fret Eraser Set is a complete set of seven flexible polishing blocks, specially designed for meticulously finishing frets on guitars and other stringed instruments. Each block is embedded with abrasive in various grits, ranging from coarse (220) to ultra-fine (8000), allowing you to easily remove scratches and filing marks. The color-coding of the blocks makes it easy to work in the correct order. The result: shiny, smooth frets that feel perfect to play.
The Fret Erasers are self-damping and flexible, allowing them to effortlessly follow the shape of the fret without damaging the fretboard. They are ideal for the final polishing step after filing or crowning frets. This smart alternative to sandpaper or steel wool works cleaner, faster, and more efficiently, as confirmed by professional repairers. Whether you're a hobby guitar builder or an experienced guitar technician, this set offers everything you need for a professional finish.
