The TAD 6L6GCSTRBP/4 is a set of four matched power tubes that deliver the classic 6L6 sound in a balanced and reliable manner. The bass is firm and full, while the high frequencies remain clear without harshness. These tubes perform consistently in both clean amplifiers and high-gain systems, and offer ample headroom for dynamic playing and wide-ranging tonal applications.
Based on the proven Philips/Sylvania STR designs (as seen in the MESA 6L6GC-STR415), these tubes combine robust performance with the musical character of RCA's black-plate 6L6GC models. They feature a double-getter system, gold-plated grid material, a sturdy glass enclosure, and low-noise filaments. As is customary with TAD, all tubes are meticulously tested and matched in Germany.
