The NitorLACK N250790160 nitrocellulose lacquer in Oxford Grey is a 400ml aerosol that delivers a stylish, automotive-inspired color for guitar projects. Oxford Grey is based on classic automotive paint and is currently used in the Gibson Custom Shop as a tribute to the retro color palette of yesteryear. Although this specific color wasn't used in the '50s or '60s, it fits perfectly within the vintage palette that gives guitars a unique, timeless look.
The lacquer is easy to apply thanks to its convenient aerosol packaging and delivers a professional result without specialized equipment. Ideal for DIY guitar builders and restorers seeking an authentic, gloss finish. NitorLACK developed this color based on original Fender and Gibson models from the 1950s and 1960s. This makes it an excellent match for classic guitar enthusiasts, while offering the advantages of modern production techniques.

- Processing tips:
- Shake well (2–5 minutes)
- Spray on sanded surface (grit 400)
- Apply in thin, even layers at a distance of approximately 20 cm.
- Drying time between coats: 12–24 hours
- Working in low humidity and in ventilated areas
