More information about this Corelli
More information about this Corelli
The Corelli CO-703-ML D-3 for 4/4 violins combines age-old finesse with modern technology: a nylon core working in conjunction with Stabilon multifilament and an aluminum alloy component specifically designed to optimize elasticity and elongation for bowing instruments. This combination creates a string that responds smoothly to bowing and long legato lines, while maintaining warmth and richness of tone without the characteristic harsh nylon sound. The result is a classic, natural tone that holds up well in orchestral and recital settings, yet remains comfortable for everyday practice. Ideal for violinists seeking a stable, responsive D string with a balanced response from arco to pizzicato. The medium-light tension provides a pleasant bow feel and reduces fatigue, while maintaining a full tone and enhanced sustain in dynamic passages. This string allows you to accentuate without becoming shrill and maintains intonation over long strides.
