De Ibanez AZ22S1F VLS uit de AZ Standard serie is een elektrische gitaar met een elzenhouten body en een bovenblad van gevlamd esdoorn. De Violin Sunburst afwerking laat de houtstructuur goed uitkomen en geeft het instrument een klassieke uitstraling. De elzenhouten body zorgt voor een heldere, gebalanceerde klank met een goede sustain. De Roasted Maple hals is thermisch behandeld voor extra stabiliteit en een betere weerstand tegen veranderingen in temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid. Samen met de jatoba toets, 22 jumbo roestvrijstalen frets en de comfortabele AZ halsvorm biedt deze gitaar een prettige speelervaring. Dankzij de Super All Access Neck Joint bereik je ook de hoogste frets gemakkelijk.
De AZ22S1F VLS is uitgerust met drie Ibanez Classic Custom elementen in een HSS configuratie. De twee Alnico single coils leveren warme, heldere klanken, terwijl de keramische humbucker bij de brug zorgt voor een krachtige en dynamische sound. Met het dyna-MIX9 schakelsysteem en de Alter Switch beschik je over negen verschillende elementcombinaties, waaronder seriegeschakelde single coils voor een vollere humbuckerachtige klank. De T106 tremolobrug heeft zes afzonderlijk verstelbare zadels waarmee je de snaarhoogte en intonatie nauwkeurig kunt afstellen. Locking stemmechanieken helpen de stemming stabiel te houden en maken het verwisselen van snaren eenvoudiger. Daarmee is deze Ibanez geschikt voor gitaristen die uiteenlopende muziekstijlen spelen, van blues en pop tot rock en fusion.
