More information about this Pirastro
More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P211251 A-string for violin delivers the warm, open tone that gut-core strings are known for, with an aluminum winding that adds extra brightness and projection. The gut core provides immediate response during bowing and quick articulations, while the aluminum wrap maintains tone stability across a wide dynamic range. The A-2 gauge offers a fuller midrange and a robust foundation, ideal for both solo passages and orchestral parts.
This string is perfect for violinists who want an authentic gut sound combined with the reliability and consistent tension of modern materials. Whether playing in classical orchestral or chamber music settings, studying, or performing live, the P211251 delivers a tone that retains warmth and clarity without sacrificing expressiveness.
