More information about this Pirastro
More information about this Pirastro
The Pirastro P31A121 is a platinum-wound, medium-tension E string for violin, size 26. The high E sounds bright and projects well in both orchestral and chamber music, while remaining responsive even during quick articulations. Thanks to the removable ball end, this string can be used with tailpieces that require or don't require a ball end, making it versatile in a variety of setups.
This string offers reliability during extended practice sessions and performances thanks to its platinum durability and consistent tension. The tight high note maintains its clarity even with aggressive bowing and complex passages, making it suitable for repertoire ranging from study cabinets to solo concerts. Ideal for violinists seeking a clear, responsive tone in the high register without compromising intonation or tonal balance.
Specifications:
- Type: E-string for violin
- Model: P31A121
