Thomastik Infeld THAL-100 violin string set 4/4 medium, synthetic core

The Thomastik Infeld THAL-100 violin line offers a medium-tension 4/4-inch set with an Alphayue synthetic core. For young violinists seeking a warmer, more vibrant sound without the high tension of steel strings, this combination delivers an instantly responsive and easy-to-play sound. The Alphayue core produces a fuller tone with excellent projection, while remaining robust and forgiving under a variety of practice and performance conditions. Its resilient construction also ensures sound stability across temperature and humidity changes, making it ideal for classrooms and rehearsals.

The combination of low tension and direct response makes the THAL-100 easy on the left hand and promotes a relaxed playing position, which is especially beneficial during long practice sessions. Monel winding on the D and G strings increases durability and provides extra resistance to sweat, which is also beneficial for players with nickel allergies. This set elevates student instruments to a more complete, versatile sound, making practicing less effortful and more enjoyable in both studio and orchestral settings.
